Ready to cut through steel like butter and get longer blade life?

The Lenox RX+ bimetal band saw blade is a pro-grade choice for your horizontal or vertical band saw.

This specific blade is 159 inches long, 1 inch wide, and 0.035 inches thick – make sure those numbers match your saw!\n\nIt's designed for cutting carbon steel and structural steel – think bars, tubes, pipes, and I-beams.

The magic is in the tooth design.

It's a \Vari-Raker\ or \Vari-Tooth\ pattern, meaning the tooth pitch (spacing) varies between 5 and 8 Teeth Per Inch (TPI).

This variable design reduces vibration and makes cutting smoother and quieter, especially on bulky or bundled materials.\n\nThe teeth themselves are made from super-hard M-42 high-speed steel, welded onto a flexible alloy steel back.

This \bimetal\ construction means the teeth stay sharp and resist heat way longer than standard blades, while the back can take the bending stress without breaking.

The positive rake angle helps it bite into the material aggressively for faster cuts.\n\nIf you're doing metal fabrication, maintenance, or any serious DIY metalworking, a blade like this makes all the difference.

It reduces tooth strippage at high feed rates and handles the tough jobs.

Just confirm your saw's size requirements (length is critical!) and you're set for clean, efficient cuts on your steel projects.
