Summer Elegance: A Day at Packwood Grand

This summer, I had the pleasure of attending one of the most anticipated events of the season—Packwood Grand.  It’s one of those rare moments where classic sophistication meets modern elegance, and honestly, who can resist an opportunity to wear a fabulous hat?

Naturally, this event calls for a standout outfit.  I opted for a chic black flowy dress that felt timeless and comfortable.  I then paired it with a black-and-white fascinator and a matching structured handbag. I loved the contrast—it added just the right amount of flair without straying from my minimalist roots. There’s something about the simplicity of black and white that always feels fresh, even in the summer heat. While I stayed true to my minimalist style, the red carpet was alive with bold, vibrant colours.

Although Packwood Grand isn’t just about fashion—it’s a celebration of old-world leisure.  The races evoke a sense of nostalgia, recalling an era when time slowed down.
